A 142-day voyage aboard Viking Vesta is one of the highlights of Viking‘s newly announced program of 2027-2028 World Cruise itineraries, with the voyage to span 31 countries across six continents.

Setting sail on 28 December 2027 from Fort Lauderdale, the voyage will also feature 62 guided tours, before concluding in London on 18 May 2028.

โ€œOur approach has always been different,โ€ said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking. โ€œAt Viking, we always focus on the destination. These epic voyages are truly the ultimate in exploration.โ€

The extensive itinerary includes iconic cities and lesser known destinations alike. Guests will begin their journey in Central America, transit the Panama Canal, and explore North Americaโ€™s West Coast before heading across the Pacific to visit the tropical paradises of Hawaii and French Polynesia. The cruise continues through New Zealand and Australia, Southeast Asia, and Africa – where guests can embark on optional safari adventures – before reaching the cultural capitals of Western Europe.

A key feature of Vikingโ€™s World Cruises is the opportunity for in-depth discovery with overnight stays in 16 major cities, including Sydney, Singapore, Cape Town, Zanzibar and Casablanca.

For those seeking an even more extensive journey, Viking offers the 170-day World Voyage III, which extends the cruise from London to Stockholm with 21 additional stops across Northern Europe and Scandinavia. Other options include the 153-day World Voyage IV from Los Angeles to Stockholm, and the 125-day World Discoveries voyage from Los Angeles to London.

The onboard experience will feature cultural enrichment programs such as the Viking Resident Historian series and Privileged Access excursions. Guests can also choose from multi-day overland adventures, including a six-day exploration of Australiaโ€™s Uluru and Great Barrier Reef, a tour of Indiaโ€™s Golden Triangle, or a five-day wildlife safari in Kruger National Park.
