Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has opened its first property in Spain. Kimpton Vividora Hotel is located in the heart of the Ciutat Vella district (the old city), Barcelonaโ€™s Gothic Quarter.

Kimpton Vividora Hotel features 156 rooms, 10 suites, three restaurants and bars, and a rooftop terrace and pool offering panoramic views of the city. The property is within walking distance to some of the cityโ€™s most prominent landmarks including Las Ramblas, La Barceloneta Beach, La Boqueria, Plaรงa Catalunya and the city’s diverse culinary scene.

The guestrooms borrow inspiration from a stylish Barcelona apartment. Each room features locally designed furniture and artwork, bluetooth speakers and exclusive luxury bath amenities. Guests can also access tokyobikes and branded skateboards to explore the city.

Complementing the main restaurant, Fauna, is the rooftop Terraza de Vivi, Barcelona’s newest oasis. With a swimming pool, sun loungers, pergolas and lush greenery, Terraza de Vivi will offer an ingenious selection of cocktails combined with small creative dishes from the bar, all with panoramic views of the city.Kimpton currently consists of 66 hotels open globally, and another 33 set to open in the next three to five years. In 2020, Kimpton will expand to Paris, Bali, Bangkok, Tokyo, Manchester and Mexico City, as well as in the USA.
