Atlas Ocean Voyages is offering loved-up couples the opportunity to wed in Antarctica for free.

The newly released ‘Happy Ever Atlas’ package includes either a destination wedding or a vow renewal, and is complimentary for guests who register in advance. Additionally, the bride receives a 50% saving off her stateroom when the wedding party books five or more rooms.

The promotion applies to Atlas Ocean Voyages’ nine-night Antarctica Discovery cruise operating round-trip from Ushuaia, Argentina aboard World Navigator that departs on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2022. The expedition explores the South Shetland Islands, then spends three-days navigating the Antarctica Peninsula.

The package includes a marriage license registered and recognised by the United Kingdom and the US government, valued at more than US$650.

Atlas will provide an officiant to conduct the ceremony, a wedding coordinator and a professional wedding photographer. Depending on weather, ceremonies can be performed both on land with penguins, seals and other Antarctica wildlife, or in shipboard venues, including World Navigator’s bridge, on the helipad, in the Dom Henrique Theater or even aboard a Zodiac.

Couples can also arrange their own ceremonial officer to preside over the wedding, at cost.

The Happy Ever Atlas wedding package includes marriage license, one-tier wedding cake, digital photo package, welcome itinerary and a gift bag, personalised bridal parasol, custom penguin jackets, flower bouquet and boutonniere, and custom nuptial announcements and Thank You cards. Separate group bachelorette and bachelor parties will also be arranged.Additionally, Atlas will establish an online wedding registry, which allows family and friends to contribute to the couple’s voyage costs or other gifts. Family and friends can gift upgraded transfers, excursions, spa services and more.
