New ultra-lux additions keep coming for Rosewood

Mexico City joins an escalating pipeline of hotels and resorts

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts‘ pipeline of future developments continues to surge with the ultra-luxury hospitality company revealing Mexico City as its next foothold in Mexico and 20th asset in the Americas.

In recent weeks Rosewood has announced a string of new properties around the globe including Rosewood Vienna (opening next year), Rosewood Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan (2024) and Rosewood Hangzhou (2025).

Rosewood Mexico City is slated to open in 2024 in the Polanco district, located within walking distance of renowned luxury shopping district, Avenida Presidente Masaryk.

The 133-room and suite newbuild hotel will join the global brandโ€™s collection of properties across Mexico, from Los Cabos and Riviera Maya to San Miguel de Allende.

Designed by internationally acclaimed, Mexico City-based architecture firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, Rosewood Mexico City will occupy the grand tower of Antaraโ€™s new build expansion.

The luxurious enclave will offer four food and beverage outlets, a poolside bar and grill, a living room and a specialty dining venue, as well as an outpost of Asaya, Rosewoodโ€™s wellness concept.

โ€œA thriving hub of art and culture, Mexico City reflects many of Rosewoodโ€™s defining pillars,โ€ said Sonia Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Rosewood Hotel Group.”

Upon opening, Rosewood Mexico City will add to the global hospitality groupโ€™s unique collection of hotels and resorts in Mexico, including Las Ventanas al Paraรญso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos, Rosewood Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende and Rosewood Mandarina opening in 2023.
