Maybourne Hotel Group, operator of Londonโ€™s prestigious hotels Claridgeโ€™s, The Connaught and The Berkeley, has unveiled a fourth property in the capital. The Emory, a modern architectural masterpiece, will be located on Knightsbridge and is set to open in mid-2023. This will be the groupโ€™s sixth hotel, including its two international properties The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera.

The Emory will herald a new standard of contemporary design and discreet luxury including a private, understated entrance on Old Barrack Yard. With its striking โ€˜sailsโ€™ structure soaring above the treetops of Hyde Park, this all-suite hotel will boast 60 extraordinary, light-filled suites set over 9 floors complete with a spectacular penthouse designed by Rigby & Rigby. Each floor will showcase the aesthetic of a different world-class interior designer including Alexandra Champalimaud, Andrรฉ Fu, Pierre-Yves Rochon, Rรฉmi Tessier and Patricia Urquiola. United by their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail, the spacious suites will offer guests a world of privacy set within an architectural wonder.

With an unparalleled 360 degree view of the capital, the hotelโ€™s spectacular rooftop will be the jewel in its crown โ€“ an entirely private, sweeping space dedicated to hotel guests only.

The progressive spirit of The Emory is also showcased in the hotelโ€™s culinary offering, with world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten introducing his highly acclaimed ABC concept of fresh, local and conscious cuisine to London for the very first time from his beloved Manhattan outpost.

Beneath ground, a newly created innovative wellness space, with a 22 metre pool, will be set across four floors for guests of The Emory.

“This is our first new London property in 50 years, and we believe it will be a truly groundbreaking new addition to our distinguished hotel family,” said Gianluca Muzzi, CEO Maybourne Hotel Group.

“We plan to bring the inspiration and creative energy that have made our other hotels so notable, whilst also making The Emory a world-class hub of art and culture. This opening further cements our vision and commitment to growing Maybourne Hotel Group, and heralds a bold new future for the company.โ€
